The touchscreen in the middle of the dash would say something along the lines of "powering off to save battery" as soon as I get in the car. The car would then not start or respond to anything, even the keyfob buttons. You have to wait for it to power off then hope holding the brake and mashing the start button would start the car. The battery was fully charged, so there was never any reason for this to happen other than crappy programming from the Ford engineers... which would make sense seeing how they made a HYBRID that only gets 35 combined mpg... I'd rather have a normal gas car with 28-34mpg, since shops can actually work on those without having to have hybrid specialists on the clock or without having to refer me to the expensive dealerships for any/all repairs. Seriously, where's the benefit of buying the Ford C-Max?! Terrible MPG in comparison to any other hybrid on the market, and much higher repair/maintenance costs than non-hybrid cars...
