- Summary
- Some 2013-2015 C-MAX vehicles may exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC U1030 after module reprogramming is performed on the powertrain control module (PCM) and built on or before 21-May-2015. ID vehicle and open a new Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) vehicle session. Select Module Programming > As-built > battery energy control module (BECM). When IDS prompts to obtain module part numbers, select Yes. Once data has downloaded, perform PMI on the BECM and confirm the U1030 clears after on-demand self testing the BECM. For claiming, use causal part 10B687 and applicable labor operations in section 10 of the service labor time standards (SLTS).
