The contact owns a 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while driving the vehicle, the contact became aware that the vehicle was not fully charged as intended. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed but no failure was found. The contact was advised by the technician to allow the vehicle to fully charge, for the vehicle to operate as intended. The contact attempted to charge the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. The contact sought a second opinion and was advised that the failure was a recurring failure with similar vehicles. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 4,100.
