The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that when the vehicle was shifted into reverse(R) and reversing at approximately 4 MPH, the contact depressed the brake pedal, and the rear brakes made an abnormally loud sound. The contact pumped the brake pedal and the sound persisted. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact drove the vehicle to a dealer who diagnosed the failure and determined that rear brake clips needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the abnormal brake sound reoccurred, and she drove the vehicle back to the same dealer. The dealer advised that the loud brake sound was normal brake function. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

The contact owned a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated while driving at 70 MPH, the vehicle experienced abnormal gear shifts. Additionally, the contact noticed a gasoline odor and a burning plastic odor coming from the A/C vents. The contact stated that upon depressing the brake pedal to come to a complete stop at the stop sign, the vehicle failed to respond. The message "ABS Failure " was displayed, and several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that he then veered to the left while there was oncoming traffic. The contact stated that he attempted to stop the vehicle by depressing the brake pedal, shifting to park (P), and engaging the electronic parking brake, but the vehicle failed to respond and was driving at 40 MPH. The contact then noticed smoke and fire coming out from underneath the hood, and the front end of the vehicle was engulfed in fire. The contact stated that he jumped out of the vehicle. The vehicle drove into a ditch, where it burned to the ground. The fire was extinguished by the fire department. The contact was unsure whether a fire department report was filed. A police report was filed. The contact sustained a scrape on the right Elbow and received care from the ambulance. The vehicle was towed and totaled. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while the vehicle was in reverse(R), there was a loud squealing sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was acknowledged that the issue was a common occurrence; however, the part to repair the vehicle were not available. Upon investigation, the contact discovered TSB: 22-2326, which he linked to the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 4,500.
