Some 2021 Bronco Sport vehicles may exhibit DTC C009C present in the all-wheel drive (AWD) module with any of the following messages displayed in the IPC: Service Advance Trac, Hill Start Assist Not Available, Pre-Collision Assist Not Available, 4WD Malfunction, and/or Reduced Power. This may be due to connector C413 not fully seated or loose connector pins. Repair or replace connector as required. Refer to wiring diagram cell 005. Review this condition before replacing the rear drive unit (RDU). If no C413 connector issues are found, continue with Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnosis routine in Section 307-07A.
