Within minutes of turning off my vehicle, I get the alert -?? my vehicle equipped with FordPass(TM) Connect has entered Deep Sleep mode to conserve battery energy. Remote features including start/stop and lock/unlock may be temporarily unavailable because your battery-?? we have had it in the ford service center several times to try to resolve this issue and they can not figure out what the problem is. They have checked several times and the Battery is not low, reset the system and replaced the module under the passenger seat. Nothing has resolved this. This has been going on for over a year now.
After I turned on the car, unbeknownst to me, the Ford Bronco stayed revved up and it did not slow down. I then switched from park to reverse and the Bronco went so fast (>4000rpm) that I ended up hitting the tree so hard that the tree was uprooted. The car was not driveable and it had to be towed. This is under progressive insurance claim: 22-3913700. The insurance company would not check the "inside" of the car (etc...transmission, electrical, etc...) as they say this is prior to the accident. I have called the Ford dealership for assistance several times to report this and for them to take a look at the inside of the car, but they have not returned my messages.
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was not drivable. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the front belt and two coolant hoses needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 37,000.
There is an electrical issue with the cars running lights, headlights and interior lighting. Intermittently, when the car is shut off and either locked or unlocked, the cars running lights, and/or headlights, and/or interior lighting fail to shut off. This occurs BEYOND the 30 to60 minute delay feature. This happens when you lock the door from the door lock or the key fob. In all cases the car has to be unlocked and relocked, trying either, or re-starting the car, shutting it off and locking the car again. At some point the battery will fail before its 60 months.

When trying to start my new Ford Bronco with 3000 miles on it in my driveway, the vehicle would not start and there were no lights on the dashboard, everything was black. When the vehicle was jumped, it started, but the console and radio was still black and when you put the car in drive it just stalled out. The tow truck came and could not put the vehicle in neutral so he had to drag the car onto the bed of the truck. It was taken to the dealership and they had the vehicle for a week and said they could not find a problem and after a few days the vehicle just started working. I read online that this same incident is happening to many Bronco owners and this is something that really needs to be fixed by Ford.
I started my car on 2/15. Drove about.5 miles down the street through a fast food place. Drove another.9 miles down the street. I heard a pop and pulled over immediately and the car was already on fire. The car had around 3542 miles on it. I had just leased it in September. Ford says this was the only vehicle that this has happened too. The inspection is happening with the insurance company as well as Ford Motor Company. No prior issues and no warning signs on the car before the fire.
Both interior liftgate lights inoperative. However, the "liftgate ajar light", and came on without warning as I was driving. I had not opened the litigate. Radio system skips & pops. fails to load tor loads slowly. Brakes failed to fully engage quickly on a slow turn, causing a total loss accident. Vehicle has 645 miles on it. I love my Bronco Sport. But..is it safe to drive if I order a new one" Can there be a cross check done by VIN to ensure I'm not getting one with the same problem? Specifically, the brakes" The brake issue worries me Please advise. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, [XXX]. Vehicle purchased at Pundmann Ford, Saint Charles. Mo. 63301 on 12/3/2021 [XXX] INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
On morning of Sept 2, 2021 I was driving home from my overnight shift as a nurse getting off about 0635, driving down a major street in the downtown area. I was approx 6 blocks from my hospital approaching a busy intersection and my Bronco Sport [2021] lost all power. Because my speed was only 30mph, it was easy to just come to a stop after a short roll Anytime the Bronco Sport shuts off it automatically goes into Park. So I had no power, not even flashers and could not put it into neutral to push it out of the intersection onto a side street. So I sat in my dead vehicle blocking traffic, just before dawn without flashers that worked, and directly in front of a bus stop, unable to move it at all. There were no warning lights or messages that came on prior to the loss of power on the dash. My radio was working fine, vehicle seemed to be running normal. After my Bronco Sport was towed to the dealer, which they have had now going on 1 week, they report the battery was completely dead and after they charged it they cannot replicate the problem I had. The battery stays charged but numerous warnings that come up on their diagnostic board. They ordered a new battery which is supposed to arrive today, Thursday 9-9-21.Once the new battery is installed they will check if the warnings go away and again if the new battery will die. The dealership cannot tell me why the battery/vehicle just died as it did. I am afraid to drive it on a crowded interstate or roadway of any type but I need a reliable vehicle to get to work.
