Battery failed exactly as described in Ford recall 25S02 NHTSA# 25V019. On 11/1/24 drove vehicle 125 miles home on a return trip and parked car in garage. Morning of 11/2/24, vehicle would not start, battery is dead. Tried to charge battery with external charger, would not take a charge. Called dealer, scheduled appointment for 11/4/24. Morning of 11/4/24, started vehicle with a jump box, took vehicle to dealer. Vehicle would not start when shut off at Dealer. Lucky have made it there, I had shut off the auto restart vie dash button, if I had not shut it off, I would have been stranded at my first traffic stop. Dealer determined it was a failed battery, replaced it at a cost of $510 as vehicle was 2 weeks out of warranty. I reluctantly paid the $510. I was lucky that the vehicle did not start running on that (11/1/25) 125 mile drive, the battery was almost dead at the end of the trip, and of course, it would have stalled when battery got too low. There were in-dash warning messages about low battery near the end of the trip. Ford and the dealership won't reimburse me for the $510. They state that they have to test the battery under the recall, even though that original battery was disposed of by the dealership. Dealership wants to test the 2 month old replacement battery under the recall before they can do anything about a refund. That makes no sense, the replacement almost certainly will test ok.
In August of 2024, my vehicle shut down after sitting at a red light. The vehicle would not turn back on nor could I put it in neutral to move it out of the way of traffic. It was explained to me that the battery was bad and had to be replaced when I took it in for service the next day. A recall was placed on my vehicle yesterday related to battery issues and I suspect my prior battery had the same issue as referenced in the recall. My car at the time was under 40,000 miles.

This has been an ongoing issue since I purchased the vehicle in July 2024. It has become so bad that the vehicle is nearly un-driveable. FORD states it is a non-issue, non safety related and there is no know fix at this time. FORD has been buying vehicles back due to this "secret recall" but after numerous calls and visits to both dealers and the Ford customer care line, nothing is being done. And while FORD might state it is an "inconvenience", when driving on the highway and a cylinder just randomly shuts down, the vehicle loses power and backfires and vibrates it is a safety concern. I have been EXTREMELY patience and professional in all my dealings with FORD on this matter, yet they refuse to offer me any help or come to a resolution in my case.
Rear brakes are noisy, they make a grinding noise. Ever since we got the vehicle. Screens turn black while driving, can control infotainment system Water gets into the vehicle when it rains or when getting car washed

The vehicle has been in the shop since day one with many many problems! The TURBO failed under warranty so they replaced it without doing proper procedures. A few months later the turbo failed again out of warranty but this time cracked the head causing damages I can not afford!! The vehicle is sitting at the dealership not fixed!! I want out of this lemon!!! I tried getting them to buy it back when I took it to the shop three different times due to break issues they could not fix but a Ford representative told me it "had too many miles" I work out of this vehicle and have not been able to work now for three months!! Note...after the first TURBO was replaced I told the dealership the vehicle was loosing antifreeze but all they did was pressure check the radiator. A few months later engine failure due to turbo failure!!
The battery that came with the vehicle lasted less than 2 years. It was replaced after one day the car just wouldn-??t hold any charge. I have the pep boys receipt and record to prove the battery would no longer hold any charge.
Battery is healthy, but car wouldn-??t start. Car was just inspected and passed with flying colors. The car has stalled three times while driving, and a fourth time, it wouldn-??t start. It gave the red battery warning on the dashboard when it wouldn-??t start. Waited a few minutes and tried a couple times and it finally started. Drove it home nearby and don-??t plan on driving it until problem is eradicated. The battery works sometimes and then doesn-??t other times. There-??s no warning, just stalls out of nowhere every once in a while.

My 2021 Bronco Sport suddenly died on [XXX]. The parking brake engaged unexpectedly, locking all four brakes and resulting in a significant skid mark. An error message flashed: -??Park Not Available. Apply Park Brake Before Exiting, -?? and the park gear light blinked. I turned off the engine again, but the car was dead when I tried to restart it. After getting a jump start, the car turned on. However, the parking brake engaged again shortly after. I was able to drive it off the road. My wife, a research librarian, found that many others have reported issues related to -??Sudden Death Syndrome." See below. [XXX] [XXX] ). The car was towed from PA, where we were visiting, to Stanford Ford, where we purchased it on [XXX]. On 11/13, the dealership told us there was a short circuit in the wiring connected to the solenoid and estimated $900 for labor. At noon on 11/15, the technician was test-driving the car. By 4:17 PM, I was told it was ready. 5 min. later, they told me it wasn't ready due to another issue. At 11:15am on 11/18, we were informed the issue was a short circuit in the transmission, costing $13,000. How is that possible? The car is only three years old! We've faced many recalls with this car, the last just this past August, but the most dangerous issue is the unexpected engagement of the parking brakes, causing chaotic behavior. Given the number of similar incidents, it's hard to believe there hasn't been a recall. We could have been injured or even killed if we had been driving over 40 mh and driving in heavy traffic, or worse, on the highway.
