Ford TSB #SSM 52225
2023 Ford Bronco
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:TV/RADIO/SPEAKERS
- Summary
- Some 2023 Bronco vehicles equipped with a B&O sound system and built on 28-Jul-2023 and through 29-Aug-2023 may experience an intermittent loss of audio from certain speakers. Function should return with a key cycle and the symptom may return within every 1-20 additional key cycles. This may be due to the software within the audio digital signal processing module (DSP). To correct the condition, reprogram the DSP module to the latest software level using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 18B849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
