Ford TSB #SSM 51212
2022 Ford Bronco
TSB Document:
Affected Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE
- Summary
- Some 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles equipped with a 2.7/3.0L engine may experience a loss of the go over any terrain (GOAT) mode and/or differential locking function when two diagonal wheels lose traction simultaneously while the other two wheels maintain traction. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0415 may be set in several modules. The issue should correct itself after the vehicle is driven on flat ground and over 28 MPH for a few minutes. This may be due to the software within the anti-lock brake system module (ABS). To correct this condition, reprogram the ABS module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. For claiming, use casual part 2C219.
