Ford TSB #SSM 50713
2022 Ford Bronco
TSB Document:
Affected Component: BRAKES (PWS)
- Summary
- Some 2021-2022 F-150/Bronco and 2022 Expedition/Navigator vehicles may exhibit an illuminated anti-lock brake system (ABS) indicator and stability-traction control indicator when ambient temperatures are below freezing, and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) C1013:09 stored in the ABS module. This may be due to ABS module software parameters and the effects of low ambient temperature on brake fluid viscosity. This condition does not affect brake system hydraulic functionality. Clear the DTC to restore ABS and stability-traction control functionality and inform customers that Ford is developing a software update which will be delivered to the vehicle via an over-the-air (OTA) ABS update in November 2022 to prevent this condition.
