Ford TSB #SSM 49925
2021 Ford Bronco
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EXTERIOR LIGHTING
- Summary
- Some 2021 Bronco vehicles equipped with exterior zone lighting may experience an intermittent single hazard lamp flash when hazards are off. This condition is due to the body control module (BCM) software. This condition occurs when zone lighting is activated then deactivated while the engine is OFF, or during an engine auto-start-stop event. This condition may be temporarily suppressed by activating then deactivating the zone lighting feature while the engine is running. Module replacement will not resolve this condition. Ford is currently working on a software update that is expected to be available October 2021. The customer can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for October, when repairs are expected to become available. Follow up with the customer to confirm the appointment once OASIS confirms software availability.
