This vehicle caught fire in my driveway during the night after sitting for over 8 hours. By the time the fire department and police came and woke me up it was totally destroyed as well as the boat sitting next to it and part of my brand new house. The fire destroyed the interier of the garage and contents as well as damadging a mustang set up for racing filled with racing fuel that could have ignited. I am still in schock over the loss and extremely angry after learning that Ford has had this type of problems before as reported on tv.
Vehicle caught on fire while parked in parking lot with engine off. Local fire department arrived to extinguish the fire. Fire department believed that fire was due to an electrical shortage under hood. Manufacturer notified, and informed that vehicle was out of its warranty, and nothing would be done.
