When we bought the car just a few days ago we checked all the fluids and even had a mechanic give it a quick go-over. Nothing major seemed amiss. The oil appeared clean and even abit over full. Two days later checked fluids again and oil didn't even register on stick. Put in about 1/2 quart and checked again the next day and still a little low but doesn't seem to be any lower than the day we added the 1/2 quart. The oil indicator light hasn't come on so we don't know what to think. This inexpensive little car appears to have had some hard use and needs some real clean up and cosmetic help but starts great and runs strong and is really fun to drive. We hope to give it some tlc and enjoy it. Oh, and fix the air conditioning, that doesn't appear to be functioning, before summer.
