This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
I noticed that my air conditioner was blowing warm air on July 4th which was a really hot day I contacted quick lube on the following Tuesday they informed me it was my compressor they said that it was way premature to lose a compressor at 47,000 miles and that I should contact my dealership which I did they proceeded to inform me that that was just the way the cookie crumbles and $ $800 later I was a very disgrunteled vehicle owner I think it is ridiculous that we spend good money on a car and this is how we are repaid for good maintinence on our car. I will never buy another Dodge again !!!! S.
I have replaced more parts on this car than I should have had to on a much older car. This is a peice of junk and the dealership will not work with me even though they know that the A/C compressor was defective. There is a huge hole in the side of it and mechanics tell me that is because the steel was too thin in one place. They want about $800 to fix it. This is crazy.
