Engine leaks oil from bad head gasket at rear of engine - could cause fire - manufacture knows of this problem, has updated headgasket design, but will only fix it at owners expense...I'm leaking a quart of oil between 3,000 mile oil changes.
Had oil changed and was told the head gasket was leaking. Car was checked several times since new for a odor in car. All that was done at the dealer, is they sprayed deodorizer for the smell. Might be the origin of the odor. Small amount of oil leaking onto the exhaust. Head gasket problems seems to be the thing on a Stratus.
Oil is leaking from the engine head gasket. The vehicle is being serviced at the dealership. The kit for the engine head gakset is on national back order.
There is a leakage within the engine head gasket from which the oil is getting on the exhaust manifold, which could catch on fire. Consumer can smell oil burning.
Engine head gasket is leaking oil all over the bottom of the engine at a rate of 1 quart every 10-14 days, causing nauseating odors inside vehicle. Two dealers are aware of the problem and say that there isn't a recall on the head gasket, and that's it's not their problem, rather it's mine, and I have to pay the $600 to fix it. This is not right!.
Wiring harness burned out/replaced. In addition, engine crank sensor failed, causing vehicle to stall/distributor cap and rotor malfunctioned, causing stalling.
