Consumer states that brakes do not stop vehicle effectively. Consumer advised that while driving brakes pedal becomes looser and looser. If consumer brakes, pedal goes to the floor, but vehicle does not completely stop.
Brake system has many problems with possible design flaw, which causes excessive wear and symptoms of master cylinder leaking and the calipers sticking.
Vehicle recall for replacement of master cylinder piston and replacement of brake pads, however continues to require replacement of (brake pads, wheel cylinder, rotors, etc.)
The power assisted brakes vibrate violantly when applied. Tt when brakes are applied at speeds above 40 mph a strong vibration is felt in bth brake and steering wheel, along with the vibration a loss of braking and steering control is very noticeable, there have been numerous attempts to correct this problme, including replacement of component parts of the brake system ( brake drums and rotors) problem was identified shortly after purchase of vehicle and currently has not been corrected.
