Driver's seatback rest failed, causing seat to collapse backward while driving. Seat was replaced by an independent repair shop. However, problem has reoccurred. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that this vehicle was not covered under manufacturer's recall, and repairs would only be done at consumer's expense.
Owner states that his vehicle was in an accident and that driver's side seatback rest fell down to the rear seat of vehicle, owner could not see in front of him at the time of accident.
