This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Another vehicle was changing lanes into my lane. I hit the brakes and pushed on the center of the steering wheel but the horn did not sound. After the incicent, I remembered that the horn is a small button in an inconvenient place on the steering wheel instead of in the middle of the steering wheel where it belongs and where all american drivers have been trained to push. The other driver never realized I was there and could have crashed into me. With a working horn in the proper place, the other car may have stopped coming into my lane. Nothing has been done to fix this design flaw. I am not aware of any publicity by Dodge about this problem with their horns or any plans to fix the steering wheels.
