Brake lights work fine until night comes and I turn on my headlights. At that point, the brake lights (which are on the same circuit as the rear driving lights) turn OFF instead of on, while the center brake light comes on like it should. Apparently, all the parts and wiring are the originals, leading me to believe this car has always had this problem - it just has been discovered while trying to pass the state safety inspection.
