Left front tire kept leaking. Dealer determined that valve stem was faulty. Chyrsler refused to replace. This is consumers second tire, the first having a similar problem. On tires with 80 psi rating this type of valve stem seems inadequate.
Tire valve stem pops and air comes out. Tires are Michelin #ltsax LT24575 R16. Also, valve stem cracked at the beginning of the tire, allowing air to escape from tire. Consumer contacted the dealership.
While starting vehicle after it was parked for a day, consumer found the tire flat. Tried to put in air, but air was escaping through the valve stem. Currently waiting on part to be delivered so that problem can be repaired.
