At 9,000 miles front rotors warped due to overheating. At 16,000 miles new brakes had to be put on. At 40,000 miles, new pads and rotors were put on. The problems seems to be that the rotors are too small for the size of the truck, and the self adjustors on the back brakes do not work.
Rotors overheating and cracking and pads are experiencing excessive wear, causing vehicle to pull when applying brakes. Mjs (original cl 08-Aug-99, revised hl on 23-Nov-99)
When applying brakes, vehicle will pull hard to right. Or if vehicle has been serviced it willthen pull to left. Rotors are being replaced within 6-9 months.

Brakes were grinding, a lining was replaced, and since then four sets of linings have been applied. Dealer contacted, and are aware of the problem, vehicle was not under warranty, dealer did not repair. Another dealer contacted and replaced the rotors at owners expense.
The front wheels went into a tramble and vehicle was not controllable. Also seemed that the disc brake rotors had warped or cracked. No warranty. Dealer cannot duplicate the problem.
