I purchased my 2008 3500 4x4 mega cab diesel new, it now has a little over 40,000 miles on it. We use it on the farm, I love the truck OTHER THAN Dodge does not seem to want to fix a manufacturer defect. Since around 20,000 miles the rear inner fenders are just getting torn up by the gravel, since then it has knocked out the lights on the fenders, and knocked a hole through the main fiberglass fenders. I have been denied any warranty repairs since 20,000 miles. All I am asking for is a little help. I don't feel if you buy a truck thats stickered for $52,000 you should have to put all new fenders on it at 40,000 miles. I bought this truck to work with and to be able to pull trailers and last along time. This is the fourth straight Dodge truck I have owned and may be the last. I just feel that if this problem had been addressed from the factory that this wouldn't have happened. My closest Dodge dealer service manager told me that Dodge wouldn't warranty any problems that arose from driving gravel roads. I feel that they're not to sure of their product or just don't care. Maybe someone that plays a role in chyslers future will read this and want to make this not be anyone elses problem, and possibly fix mine, but I'm holding my breath. The ram specialist that I talked informed me that his supervisor was to call me and talk about the problem, but he never did. If any dodge representative would like to contact me nbslashtwo@hotmail.com
