The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500. The contact saw a small puddle of fuel while the vehicle was parked. He stated that the fuel is leaking from the fuel tank. The dealer informed him that a rock could have gotten in between the fuel tank and the cradle or that the fuel tank was moving inside the cradle and wore a hole in the tank. There was no warranty on the vehicle; therefore, the contact has to pay for the repair. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 60,225.
