So far I have replaced the transfer case actuator motor, the selector switch, the AC pressure sensor (which mimics the command to go into 4wd if bad), still no joy... No messing with the TIPM.
My mechanic called a help line that said that there were a whole list of things that could cause the problem but that it was most likely the TIPM. I'll try to re-flash first. I don't have 1300 to replace Dodge's screw up! Why did they put a computer next to all the radiators (inter cooler, transmission cooler, radiator). That engine compartment on a Cummings 5.9L engine runs very hot! Why didn't they put it inside the cab!
