really awful
suspension problem
This has happened many times not just the date I filled in. Everything on the front end has been changed. Within the last month I replaced the entire trac bar. The last time I did just the bushings. 3 people said change the trac bar and it still has the death wobble.

The death wobble has occurred repeatedly, I now know what local bumps to avoid entirely is possible, and if not, slow down to approximately 40 mph, which causes a danger in itself on the interstate. Now that I know I am not the only to experience this problem, I will approach the local dealer, if that doesn't fix the problem I will approach higher ups. If problem remains unsolved, I am not beyond filing my own lawsuit!
In the meantime I may have no choice but to have the suspension rebuilt because with each occurrence, terror behind the wheel increases.

We have had ball joints replaced bushings, replace shock absorber, stabilizer shock, alignment and still having problems. We have spent over $1,000. We are still having problems with the wobble.

I've had the death wobble before once back in around 2009 and the dealer fixed it on warranty and now it happened again in November 2015. I was scared for my life as I was passing a vehicle and had traffic behide and in front of me. Is there a recall on this? Did dodge step up to the plate and fix this problem yet?

Come on Dodge you have countless complaints about this and know there are ways to fix it. My situation is not much different then most accounts, very dangerous and frustrating. My truck rolls perfectly until it hits a bum going over 40 mph then look out it shakes violently and doesn't stop until I slow down. The guy I bought it from has had to replace his track bar bushings twice, and after less than 2000 miles it looks like I will have to take his advise and replace the whole assembly not with a Dodge part, but with an aftermarket part built specifically to replace Dodges defective part. This is how Dodge takes care of their customers, you have got to be kidding me.

I've heard this referred to as the "Dodge Death Wobble". Mine just started at over 130,000 miles. It is a violent uncontrollable front end shimmy or wobble that starts at highway speed when a minor bump or depression is hit. The shimmy doesn't stop until the vehicle is slowed to near stop. Usually a panic stop in freeway traffic. Very dangerous.
