Chrysler issued a Safety Recall #N62/NHTSA 13V-528 which I received in Jan. of this year (2014). This letter states "If you have already experienced this condition and have paid to have it repaired, please send your original receipts and/or other adequate proof of payment to the following address for reimbursement: Chrysler Customer Assistance, P.O. Box 21-8007, Auburn Hills, Mi 48321-8007, Attention: Reimbursement. Once we receive and verify the required documents, reimbursement will be sent to you within 60 days."
I followed these requirements and mailed to Chrysler Jan. 27, 2014. Chrysler called me on approximately March 3,2014 to inform me my claim was denied because the repair shop DID NOT use genuine Chrysler repair parts.
My Ram 3500 broke down on June 6, 2013, 200 miles from home and had to be towed off of the road.
