Clutch pedal started to make a snapping feeling as it was pressed and clutch would slip at hwy speeds when pulling out to pass at about 21000 klm. Took it to Dodge and was told that the clutch was only warrantied to 20000 and I would have to pay to get it fixed. After a lot of fighting with Northland Dodge in Prince George, finally took it to a private mechanic and had it replaced with a Southbend Clutch Assembly at a cost of $2500.00. The mechanic found that 2 springs had broken on the clutch plate and they where rubbing on the input shaft every time the pedal was pressed and had wore into the shaft badly. Luckily was able to machine it smooth again.

Talked again to Northland Dodge and was told too bad, it is warranted to 20000 and they would not help. What kind of sh..y parts is Dodge using if a clutch is warranty to 20,000. I will never buy another Dodge.and I wish they would stop sending me invitations to their "private" sales for repeat customers,ha ha. And now having steering box problems as well as other problems. MONEY PIT. Dodge sucks with warranties. I wish Ford would start using Cummins Engines.
