Fuel pump starts failing at approximately 155,000 but truck still runs normal. Low pump pressure causes injector pump to go out at 160,00. It seems that Dodge and everyone who has ever worked on a dodge knows this but dodge will not install a $25.00 fuel pressure gauge to warn you of impending doom! ( got pretty rough on them in my fuel pump complaint so I will be civil here) In their minds everyone would love to pay an additional $1700.00 every 160,00 miles for the privilege of driving one of their trucks!! I remember the day when they couldn't give the dang things away back in the late 70's and 80's. They had best not forget that if it weren't for the cummings (which Ford now owns and will be installing in a couple more years) and the hemi the interiors are still pretty much a pile of plastic crap and I will go back to Ford!!! Buy the guage and save yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
