When I had only had the truck new for two weeks the transmission over heated up to 270 degrees and stopped on the side of the road. Had it towed into the dealer. They first told me that putting a snow plow on it may have voided my warranty - even though I purchased it with the snow plow prep package and the plow was put on through a vendor by the dealer. After they sorted out that it did not in fact void the warranty they had the transmission rebuilt and it has been fine since.
