truck has 17,500 miles as of today. truck is still the same ,truck was put in for a recall (tie rod) and brought by a so called friend not myself and i never signed for it ,they went ahead and used my extended warranty, without my permission. this wobble always happens when it rains or snows. the truck has been in for two other recalls and the truck still does the same thing i dont even drive it. i almost got killed in pennsylvania on 280. after that i dont even want to own it. it just sits ,when ever you bring it to the dealer it comes out with another problem.

Ram 2500 SLT 5.7L Hemi V8

At 60 mph, I hit a joint between the road and the bridge, my truck started a violent shaking; I almost lost control of the truck and crashed. I start a big problem on the highway after going down to 30 mph (only way to stop that uncontrollable shaking). It was very dangerous, no idea what to do.

Ram 2500 Laramie MegaCab 5.7L

Terrifying and VIOLENT shaking in heavy traffic on a 4 lane highway after driving over an bridge expansion joint. Nearly lost control of the truck and crashed. Could not steer and braking did not slow it down. It finally resolved after coasting down to 30 MPH or so. Currently looking at legal options. THIS IS A DANGEROUS FLAW.

Ram 2500 Diesel

Our family was on Interstate 80 west towing our trailer and hit a small bump where the road meets the concrete bridge and uncontrollable shaking hit the front of the truck. My husband could barely hold the wheel as we slowed down and almost took out 2 highway road signs while trying to get off the highway with big rigs screeching their brakes around us. it had thrown everything around in our trailer...it was a mess. we were petrified to get back on the road. then we read there is no fix for this except to go with beefier parts from an offroad outfitter.

There is no other way to describe that wobbling on the highway when driving over a bridge, and the bridge is angled to the left. That happened to me on 3/12/2016, as I was driving over a bridge on Highway 41 south bound. and catching Highway 180 towards the east. It is a horrible feeling, indescribable. I wish the CEO of Dodge would go on a ride on a Dodge Ram 2500 or any other Dodge that has that same death wobble issue. Until then he/she will know what it feels like.

I am very upset and outraged about this incident, thankfully no accident occurred. But its gives a very bad reputation to Dodge Ram manufacturer. People pay a lot of money for these products, and trust these corporations with their lives. And to have this type of low budget, cheap, product in return, is totally unacceptable. I demand a complete fix/upgrade on this vehicle ASAP on this matter.

This has been happening since two month after purchased (used) It was already out of warranty. Took it to private shops had front end work done stopped it for a while. Then slowly it starts back. Going over 50mph when you hit a transition from asphalt to concrete at a bridge it will start extreme shaking in the front like bouncing basketballs until I slow down to 30 mph.

I too had my truck in for the recall on the tie rod but before I had it in there were NO wobble issues none! Now that I had the work done to make the truck safer, I am afraid to drive it! If I hit a bump on the hwy the front end shakes and shutters, one time with a trailer and a few times without so it doesn't matter weather towing or not. This is unacceptable I love my truck but not like this. If the dealer says there is nothing that can be done then I am done with Ram and I hate to because they are a great line of trucks but the support is faltering.

Update from Oct 21, 2015: Ok update time, my wobble was due to a simple yet sloppy mistake! When they installed the new tie rods and track bar and steering stabilizer shock for the recall they forgot to tighten the two u bolts on the steering stabilizer shock! It was just loose I found out by climbing underneath and started feeling around well didn't take but a minute to find out the shock was just hanging there, so I took it back to the dealer who did it and told them how to fix it. They apologized and now in my e mail I am getting two months of free sat radio I would assume a little bribe so I give them a decent follow up review that Chrysler just sent me. But all good now no wobble I am back to loving my Ram!

I use this truck to pull horses, or should I say used to because I am afraid to pull anything with it now let along drive it. The dealer says they can find nothing wrong but refuse to ride in it with me so I can prove to them it shakes uncontrollably after hitting a small bump on the highway. I spent a lot of money on this truck and now I cannot use it the way intended.
