This is crazy, I have to slow down at every bridge, overpass, or any area that has a transition from asphalt to cement. If I am at a speed above 65 MPH, the truck wobbles terribly and becomes almost uncontrollable until I slow to about 35 MPH.

I HAD THIS TRUCK OVER 4 YEARS NOW. I LOVE IT BUT THE DEATH WOBBLE IS SO BAD THAT NO ONE WANTS TO DRIVE IN MY TRUCK. DODGE HAS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AND STOP BLOWING THE PUBLIC OFF. I HAVE PUT OVER $4,000 INTO THE FRONT END. AND MORE MONEY THIS WKND. I NEED NEW ENDS FOR MY TRACK BAR AGAIN! THATS MORE $$$ AND TIME I HAVE TO INVEST ON MY WKND OFF.

Just a pain when every bump on the road I feel that it is getting ready to start shaking and I have to slow down on the freeway.

Vehicle experiences the Death Wobble at around 60 MPH when you hit a small bump - usually when turning the steering wheel slightly at time of bump. Have replaced both left and right ball joints, and upgraded the tie rod system (even though the recall upgrade had previously been performed). Wobble still persists.

While driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 4X4 Quad Cab back in September of 2014 in the White Mountains of Arizona. I experienced a violent shaking in the front end while traveling at 60 mph. I was changing lanes when this occurred. It was so violent that I had no control over the truck until I got the speed down to about 30 mph. I took it to a local alignment shop and learned what it is commonly referred to as the DEATH WOBBLE.

The shop owner told me the only fix he knows of is to sell the truck, that what he did with his. I took the truck to the local Chrysler dealership and told them what had happened and the conversation I had with the alignment shop. Go figure they had never heard of the DEATH WOBBLE and stated they have never had any complaints regarding the condition. I offered the service adviser a ride but as you probably he guessed he refused. "REALLY" FIAT CHRYSLER YOU DON'T THINK THERE'S A PROBLEM !!!!!

P.S. This has happened on more occasions than I can count even after dumping $1000.00's on replacing every part in the front end. I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING THAT A CLASS ACTION SUIT IS BROUGHT ON IN REGARDS TO THIS CONDITION. I BET FIAT CHRYSLER WILL LISTEN THEN !!!!

Towing a BP trailer hit a pothole as accelerating on an on-ramp. Front end started shaking and bouncing (possibly due to trailer weight?) and swerving completely out of control. Luckily other cars were paying attention and got out of my way so no crash occurred. I ended up regaining control at 20 mph just as I was about to hit the median sideways across the 3 lane interstate.

The truck is in the shop now with the insurance adjuster coming tomorrow. I'm not sure of all the damages or what caused it, but both front shocks were blown, a transmission mount was broken from the violent bouncing, possible warped wheels, and pieces in the cab were knocked loose. The recalled tie rod was replaced a couple thousand miles ago along w/ the drivers ball joint.

I have symptoms of whiplash and some contusions from things in the cab hitting me. The truck was bouncing so violently that items on the passenger seat and floor ended up in the backseat! Airbag did not go off. The mechanic was able to reproduce the wobble after disconnecting the trailer on a safe road by turning the steering wheel while tapping the brakes and he said it is by far the worst "death wobble" he has ever experienced (possibly because now the shocks were blown so I'm sure that adds to it - the youtube videos of "death wobbles" do not come close to what this truck does). I will update when I find out more.
