One brake light does not work and one front turn signal and one rear turn signal do not work. I've replaced all the bulbs and bulb sockets plus the multifunction turn signal switch. Still not fixed. I know I'll get a ticket for no brake light. High risk of an accident making turns with two turn signals not working. WTF!!! I've spent thousands at a shop plus what I've done and it is frustrating as hell.

Dodge should have to pay for faulty turn signal and brake lights repair and any tickets received because of the junk electrical.

As I was driving back from a snowmobile trip my dashboard had a nervous breakdown and the it stalled. I pulled over to the side of the road to see what happened. Truck would not even crank. The tire light, ABS light, engine light and the break light all came on. I reset the computer with my Smarty jr and the truck started and went about 10 feet before is stalled again. The was repeated several times until I was able to park in some ones driveway. The vehicle was towed.

The next day it started right away and ran for about 200 ft and stalled again. I brought in a NYS certified repair shop to be looked at and he told me the fuse box under the hood was shot. $1200.00 later the truck ran ok for 3 days (replacing the fuse box and cleaning several connectors). Today I'm back to square one (all my problems are back) PISSED. A waste of $1200.00 and a non running vehicle. I really like my Dodge Ram 2500 but if Dodge has so many issued with electrical and other items I'm not sure about buying another Dodge. Maybe I would be better off buying a Chevy or Ford.

Update from Feb 18, 2019: I forgot to mention that the fuse for the ABS system had blew several times before and after the fuse box was replaced.

Ram 2500 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission

Vehicle lost power while driving and I was lucky enough to maneuver vehicle (without power steering and power brakes) to a safe location without causing accident and injury to myself and others. Had I been on the highway or towing a trailer, I would have not been so lucky.

The TIPM is defective and is a major problem in multiple vehicles but Dodge has only issued recalls for a few models and years. Have a $52,000 diesel truck I can't drive till I pay to fix their problem. Guess it's my problem.
