According to VIN recall search in June 2015, there are 3, possible 4 "recall incompletes" on the truck, NHTSA recall #'s 09E001; 13V-528; 15V-313, and/or manufacturer recall #'s H46; N62: R25 respectfully, plus possible aftermarket pitman arm recall. No accidents or failures dealer says manufacturer is only releasing limited amount of supplies per dealer and they cannot reorder till current stock is installed. Dealer says they have to wait till others ahead of me have their work completed and they are having issues getting customers to make appointments. For some reason, I keep moving down the recall list instead of up the list. Seems unreasonable to take so long for these recalls, some of which are 2 to 6 years old.

My son was working with the owner of the truck in N.C. truck went off road hit tree both died my son was thrown out of truck and landed under the truck. Police said airbags did not work right but due to fire it was said to be inconclusive. There was also a dog in the back seat that got out with out injury. This is what leads me to think the airbags were not working if so my son and the other boy would of had a better chance to get out of the truck before the fire started. Please look into this matter it will not bring my son back but it may help someone else from losing a loved one! looking forward to a reply and any info on this matter. Thank you for your time. Your affected parts area will not allow me to leave in the parts (airbags) is the main one...updated 10/11/17 03/28/18

We own a 2007 Ram 2500 mega cab VIN [xxx] and a 2002 Jeep Liberty VIN [xxx] that both have an outstanding recall on the air bag systems. We received the recall notices several months ago notifying us of the recall but that the parts are not available to make the repair. We understand that there is a massive settlement against fca regarding recall issues but neither of our vehicles are included in this. The Liberty is my 17 year old daughters car that also had to have a hitch installed to avoid her vehicle from exploding in a rear impact collision. We do not feel that we should have to wait for repairs to a vehicle that is improperly manufactured and could cause injury to our daughter thru no fault of her own. The same can be said about the Ram since it is used as a family vehicle for vacations and as my husband's daily driver. We would like to request that an investigation into either getting the recalls done immediately or including these vehicles in the current buy back settlement. We have owned several Chrysler products over the last 20 years and am very disappointed in how the recent recalls have been handled. The recall notices seem completely useless if the parts are not available to make the required repairs. Not driving our vehicles is not an option and selling a car with this type of outstanding recall is not feasible as it reduces the value. The Jeep Liberty is our highest priority in getting the needed repairs or including it in the buy back program as we are greatly concerned about our daughter's safety. Thank you for your time and consideration. [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
