The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. While idling at a stop light the rpms increase as if the vehicle would accelerate. He has to grip the steering wheel tightly to prevent vehicle movement. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. He was advised that the torque converter in the transmission would fail. He has to pay to replace the transmission. The failure mileage was 114,000.
