There was a recall on the left tie rod replacement, which my local Dodge service inspected. In my case, the right tie rod snapped. I ended up crashing off the side of a mountain road into a ditch (no other damage thank goodness). Truck had to be retrieved by a wrecker in a remote mountainous area, and taken to a shop for repair. This location was 1.5 hours to my house, so I was out repair, wrecker, and time/money going to retrieve the vehicle. I asked Dodge for financial relief, but they kept falling back on recall on left side. Isn't it a coincidence that a recall on the left side, surely it couldn't affect the right side? Yeah right, Dodge is darn lucky I didn't sustain personal injury, body work, or worse going down the highway at a very high rate of speed.
