There needs to be a recall on the 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 fuel line #4. I have had multiple issues and I know several people that have had the same issues with this part cracking due to vibrations.

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Fuel Line # 4 has cracked multiple times leaving me stranded on the side of the road. The only place to purchase this part is from the dealership. Very aggravating to have to keep replacing this same part that is also dangerous because it sprays diesel everywhere putting me at risk of catching on fire.

Have had to replace this part 7 times due to cracking and diesel spraying everywhere. Why is there not a recall for the fire dangers of this problem?

It is really annoying when driving and all the sudden your CEL comes on. You know that you have serviced your vehicle and maintained the fuel system properly, only for the line which goes to the 4th injector blows out and there is fuel everywhere. We lost over 8 gallons of fuel in a residential area. What is even worse is the fact that Dodge knows that this is a common issue but still decides that are not responsible for the costly fixes to determine if there was any more damage done to the fuel system. You know if I wanted to pay $7500 to have supposedly everything to be replaced according to the local dealer than I would instead of doing a simple pressure test to ensure there is no leaks in the injectors. Maybe double checking before making costly repairs and Chrysler/Dodge offering to rectify the problem and stop all these costly repairs for everyone.

2 cracked injector lines at 64,000 miles is outrageous. Warranty up 20 days ago, Dodge would no nothing. Been driving other Diesel cars and trucks for 30+ years and NEVER had a problem like this!!
