In 2013 it shut down, smoked, barely got it off the road. Towed to dealer in Simi Valley, stated it was the ECM, several issues in that repair not up to par! Supposed to ck the whole electrical system after I spent $2,700.00. Then not long after, the battery cables were so swollen the batteries and cables had to be replaced. Had to take it to another dealer (Crown in Ventura) who could not see the other repairs just done, cost me another $400 for cables, plus cost of 2 batteries. (now I have been told you can't get Manufacturer rated batteries so I had to get step down in power) Cold starts show fluctuating charge, lights dim and come up, gauges go dim and come up. Not long after that I started having starting problems. Cranks but doesn't turn over. Wait a few seconds and starts right up but Radio intermittently does not come on after start. Now, its 2018, have 150k on it now, still having same issues but more frequently, dealer has never addressed any of the complaints when I brought it in. Was told by Dealer that Dodge has known about this for quite a while, so WHY is it not being addressed and it better NOT be on my dime!!!
