ok, so i complained about the first time the tranny has slipped and ended up with a rebuilt one. now, the rebuilt one is slipping with only 46,000 mi. on it. total mileage on the truck is now 106,000. i dont know what is causing this being i thought the last incident was due to keeping it in drive while going up the mtn. since the rebuilt tranny, ive been manually using my gears and i have the same problem. ive watched this tranny carefully, taking great care. only difference is, this time IVE got to pay for it since the rebuilt one has expired the warranty. Sucks! YOU WILL SEE MORE COMPLAINTS ON THIS PATICULAR TRUCK INVOLVING THE BALL JOINTS/ TIE ROD AND SWAY BAR ISSUES. ITS SCARY BEING IVE GOT AN 2008 DODGE DIESEL ( BEEN IN THE SHOP 4 TIMES) W/ 25K ON IT! same issues, tranny slipping, radiator probs, no one can find, ball joints, tie rod end, links and more. dont know how much time i can spend here complaining, gotta go to work to make $ to fix issues. btw, i DID fix recalls too!
