The contact owns a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. The contact stated that when the left turn signal was activated, the right turn signal activated instead. The failure occurred on three occasions. On one occasion, a crash was avoided due to the failure. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the wiring in the steering column needed to be replaced.
