This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
My 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 developed a vibration in the front end a about 35,000 miles. It was most noticeable at low speeds turning to the left. It got worse and by 50,000 miles began to appear at speeds from 45 mph and up. At 52,000 miles the dealer found that both cv joints were bad along with both upper and lower ball joints. Both cv joints, all four ball joints, and the lt front hub and bearings were replaced. I have the replaced parts except the cv joints which were returned to Chrysler.
