Truck has been bullet proof for 10 yrs…only water pump replacement and usual tires/brakes. All synthetic after 5,000 miles. K& N air filter. Lucas fuel additive. Truck dies after running 1/2 minute. Had been idling slightly rough. SKIM Codes activated: P0628 (low voltage at lift pump) & P0633 (chip key sensor). Alarm works, and it would start. Replaced the filter/pump in tank with O.E.M., no Chinese crap on this truck. Replaced fuel filter near engine block. STILL A PROBLEM. It's now at the dealership..waiting to get screwed.
Seems this is a repeat problem, fuel sending issue. At least I got 165k before it died.
