truck broke down 1k from home in bend or, dealer first diagnosed problem as lift pump , said mine was located on block, witch was a bad design , lift pump should be in tank , paid extra to move to tank , dealer sent me on the road , truck quit running 137 miles from bend on hwy 31 , desolate waited on hwy for tow for 5 hours , which i paid for , dealer had truck for another week , called me and now says its the high pressure pump another 26,00 bucks. i have spent almost 5 k on this venture between rental cars hotels and fuel. the only thing the dealer did was furnish a truck for a week . i feel dodge is totaly responsible for the parts , the truck is a 2002 with 111k miles on still like new . i had a old 16 valve dodge had over 350k on it never a problem , i think there are a lot of these out there that shloud be on the RECALL LIST
