This problem is no different than the dashboard falling apart. The plastic used by Dodge is crap. Dodge needs to issue a recall on all the dash-core-frames and dashboards. This won't do any good, but I feel I am doing my part. I thought Dodge was better when it came to fixing problems.....oh well.
