ABS braking system would jerk badly when applied. Problem became worse when towing a trailer. Have taken vehicle to dealership. Mechanic indicated nothing wrong, but had carriage bearing replaced 5 times. Was test driven with service manager and problem reoccurred. Was informed to remove ABS fuse. Problem existed without fuse, and caused extended stopping distance. Accident occurred due to lack of ABS power.

When brakes were applied to deactivate cruise control brake pedal went to the floor, resulting in extended stopping distance. Dealer has been notified. Transmission grabs hard into second when it shifts, also when stopped it feels like it is getting tapped in the back end. Steering gear and steering shaft replaced, rattling noise while driving over bumps. Driver's door lock will not lock when using switch, dealer replaced.

Accepted delivery of vehicle 8/7/99 from timothy Dodge. 1/20/00 serviced at timothy Dodge - mileage 6,834. Truck was pulling severelt to right when brakes applied. Brake drums, front calipers, rotor and pads replaced under warranty. This relieved pulling for approximately 1,800 miles. The pulling progressively developed anew. 5/12/00 serviced at timothy Dodge - mileage 12,122. Trailer harness problem repaired. Continued problem with brakes reported to dealer and a rep test drove vehicle. He advised vehicle was braking normally. Advised that brakes were a wear item and would not be covered under warranty after 12,000 miles. On 6/12/00 went to timothy Dodge for paint touch up and requested a rep to test drive vehicle again regarding the brakes pulling. Mileage at that time 13,956. Told problem could not be duplicated and that a brake job would cost $200 or more. As parts were new, declined brake service at a charge. On 8/10/00 stopped at timothy Dodge requesting a service rep to test drive truck again for same pulling of brakes. Mileage 16,302. He drove truck in parking lot and advised there was no problem. Again declined a brake job at a cost of over $200 as parts were still reletively new. On 10/30/00 vehicle serviced at timothy Dodge. Mileage 20,635. Problem with excessive play in steering and continued problem with brake pulling reported to dealer. They again said they could not duplicate the problem reported. No service performed. Again told brakes were a wear item no longer covered under warranty. On 11/20/00 vehicle serviced at timothy Dodge. Mileage 21,596. Continued problem with excessive play in steering and brake pulling becomming more severe. Steering gear box replced under warranty. Upon picking up vehicle, immedately noticed the steering binding and continued excessive play. Truck returned next day, and told I should consult another dealership. After doing so, still no redress to date.

This truck is unsafe!! two weeks after purchase, steering pulled hard to the left when loaded/towing. Now truck pulls hard to the right when braking (loaded or not), but will occassionally pull left. Driver is never sure which direction truck will pull. Dealership has made numerous "repairs" to the steering, suspension, and brakes; including but not limited to steering gear box, ball joints, calipers, suspension arms, alignment, tire pressure, tire rotation, tire size. District service manager has stated these trucks have "very sensitive suspensions" and the pulling is "normal". this is a 3/4 ton 4-wheel drive work truck and it has a "sensitive suspension"?

Truck pulls extremely hard to the left when braking. Has been in several times and hasn't been fixed, although many parts have been replaced. It has been at the dealer for almost thirty days now and the dealer has given up. It is unsafe to drive so I am making payments on a truck I can't use. Chysler hasn't contacted the dealer to try to rectify the situation, they say it will be another week.

Tires, though we haven't experienced a blow out or treads peeling off, the tires are wearing much quicker than they should. With only 12,000 mile on the vehicle, the tires look like it's been driven 50,000 miles. Mid October we called chrsyler in auburn hills, to let them know how unsafe we feel driving this truck. We have had this truck brought back to the dealer eleven times for warranty work, eight of which were for brake problems.( dot number: M32kerhx tire size: P245/75R16 )

I have been having problem with the front brakes on my Dodge truck. When you brake the truck pulls to the right. To avoid an accident, in a panic stop I had to turn the steering wheel 3/4 to the left to keep from jumping into the right lane. I've had this machine in for repairs 8 plus times. The front rotors have been replaced three times resurfaced at least 9 times. Six sets of new brake pads on the front new drums on the front. Three sets of rear drums. Two new sets of rear shoes. This machine is a hazard. I've talke to other owners about this problem and it seems I am not the only one this is happening to. I need help getting this corrected the dealer and Dodge can't seem to solve this problem.
