Oil pump went out, oil pickup tube was plugged. it has 233000 miles, this is not unexpected. However, there are no parts available. Parts required are timing cover, oil pump, pressure relief valve and associated gaskets. None of these parts are available. According to the dealership, all are on national backorder, with no expected date of availability or even a listed supplier. I now have a large white 7000 lb yard ornament. Dodge built these engines, but does not support them with repair parts. I now own a Ford truck with a diesel engine, there will be no more Dodges in my future.
