This vehicle experienced the problem as described in the brake drum and shoe system recall 97V068000, but this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN. This problem occured more when the vehicle is in reverse gear and on an incline to the rear (like backing down a boat ramp). This problem has also occurred when stopped at a red light in the city.
The front brakes get hot while driving vehicle down the road on normal road condtions.. the brake shoes has been replaced once but brakes still get hot. The vehicle has ABS.
