Dash cracking on 1995 is similar to what other people have had problems with and was not addressed by Dodge by having a recall..This could be extremely hazardous if the airbag deployed and send many little pieces of the dash to injure someone!! I would be appreciate any help which Dodge could provide even to assume partial responsibility for replacing the dash ASAP.

Dash vibrates so bad with the Cummings engine it will throw shards into your face I had to place a towel over it. Attempted to stop drill and silicone at the start but a huge chunk fell inward and cut my hand. it is very easy to break and has now cracked out on both sides and looks like sh*t. This truck has been taken care of and has low mileage the only real complaints till the dash was the transmission. These dash problems should be replaced at no expense to the owner, It is a hazard due to sharp edges to cut someone or puncture airbags and has caused the defrost to not direct correctly and to the window fogs in drivers view. Not to even start to say how bad it looks. An aftermarket would be hard due to the fact the Vin is attached to this crap.

This dash is as brittle as egg shells. I had been plastic welding it back together for years until there was nothing left to weld back together.

I believe the cracked dash problem went back to the original years of the new style Dodge Ram. Although I live in Arizona the info I have read does not limit this problem to the hot climates, it happens all over the country. I have a 40 year old dash from a classic car that has held up better then the one from my Dodge. Supposedly it till the 2010 for Dodge to come up with a redesigned better interior for the Rams.
