I contacted Ram about the buy back program. My truck is one that qualifies for the buy back program. So I finally got a hold of someone. They have no clue as to when this will start. In the mean time I have a $30,000 truck that I just bought four months ago and now I'm to scared to drive my kids in it. Not only that but the biggest kick in the balls, is my Trade in value now. When I bought it trade in value was $27,000 now it's at $22,425. So my comment to the FCA person was - oh, so you are going to wait until it drops more in value which it already has since you placed this massive recall and then you are going to offer me 22,000 dollars and I've only made 2 payments? Since the only reason you are doing this is because you got caught by the GOVT. It wasn't like you did this out of the kindness of your heart. And all I heard was crickets.
Anyone else going to get boned by this buyback? Let's sue them in civil court to at least get our money back. I now have a truck that is going to sit in my driveway until this stuff gets figured out. Sorry for the rant but I'm beyond pissed off.
