While driving home from my grandkids house I noticed it was difficult to see. Once I got home I realize the right headlight was out and the left was dim. The next day both worked fine.

Had trouble with the lights since I bought the truck in 2013. Replaced bulbs. It is a regular pain in the ass. I have noticed all of the Dodges have the same thing wrong.

I bought the 2011 dodge ram sport second hand. I discovered my lights were out on drivers side. I replaced bulbs several times. I was told by a co worker that the TIPM is defective, even if you replace it. His solution was to bypass it. He has had no problems since he has done it.

Why are there not recalls on this? I consider this a safety issue, not to mention a FINE for lights being out.

After my right (passenger's side) low beam went out, I went through the process of removing the radiator cover, grill, and headlamp assembly just to change the damned bulb. While everything was apart I decided to replace both low beams at the same time. After re-assembly everything seemed to be alright, but the next day (while driving at night) the right headlamp stopped working again. The next morning I was planning to disassemble everything again to see if I had installed a defective bulb, but before I did, I turned on the headlights and everything was working fine. Two days later the right headlight stopped working again. Sometimes it comes on, but most of the time it stays off. Now, I am preparing to rip everything apart again to troubleshoot the problem. I don't know whether it's the TIPM or a loose wire, but in either case it is a poor design problem, and it is inexcusable.

This is most definitely an engineering design flaw. I nor any other consumer should be charged to have this problem resolved and the resolution is the replacement of the TIPM with a long lasting reliable one. Having to pay for this would be an absolute travesty, Chrysler needs to sack-up and fix what they created!

Driver side headlight went out again. In my two prior incidents it had came back on after a short while. This time it has been out for over two weeks (April fools joke is still on me I guess). I just thought the headlight was going out and had finally done so. What is strange is that the truck gave no indicator warning light like it had down when my rear tail lamp went out a few weeks prior. So now I'm certain I have an electrical issue, right?

I did some searching on the ole Internet and discovered hundreds of threads on dodge forums about people having the same variation of issues. Most of these linked to the TIPM after taking them into the stealerships. Looks like I will be forced to a) not drive at night (impossible since I work nights and drive to work during darkness) or b) pay $1000 bucks or so to have my TIPM replaced.

I have had many electrical problems with this vehicle, all just after warranty expired. This one is really pissing me off. Right headlight keeps cutting in and out.

I had my right low beam headlight go out. Replaced both low beams at same time since you have to dismantle the front end to do it. A couple months later the right low beam went out again. I didn't replace it right away. It came back on a couple days later, stayed on a few days and went out again. Replaced bulb, stayed working until beginning of Feb 2015. Went out again and stayed out. Replaced it again . Yes I wore nitrite rubber mechanics gloves each time I replaced the bulb. Checked the connection all seem good. TIPM may be the culprit from all I've read . I don't think I should have to pay for a $850.00 box. I work long hours and cannot have my truck laid up very long.

Needless to say I'm very angry about this. I love the truck, don't get me wrong. But Ram should be fixing this at their expense. They put the faulty crap in the truck, they need to fix it.

The right side headlights (high and low beams) have at times cut out randomly while driving. Recently they died altogether. My dealer determined the bulbs were fine, and that the problem was the Total Integrated Power Module, which had to be replaced.
