I purchased a used 2011 Dodge Ram with a remainder of warranty. When I was towing my Lite Trailer (appx 2200lbs) I traveled approximately 1 hour, and everything was fine. Suddenly the temp gauge showed high and the digital read out read high. I pulled over and opened the hood, everything was fine, no steam, overflow, etc. fluid levels were fine. It stayed high, for the duration of our trip. I took the truck to a local dodge dealer for the warranty repair. They stated it looked like the lower fan was not working, but without a code, they could not repair or replace anything. I have stopped driving it, because the warranty runs out at 36000 miles and I want the repair covered. I do not think it was a fluke, I think the dealer doesn't want to repair it.
